    Everyone should want to belong to my organization…why can’t we find and keep members? We have great programs, our dues are competitively priced, and our leadership is committed to our cause. When membership campaigns are not delivering consistent and predictable results, you might want to adopt some of these techniques. We will discuss what I call the “5 Rs of Membership”.

    Joan Jordan is the Managing Director of the Executive Search Firm Sanford Rose Associates® Phoenix. Her firm’s practice area focuses on Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain specialties in manufacturing and distribution firms. Ms. Jordan has worked extensively in Asia in a product design and development capacity; she has also led acquisition and commercialization projects in that region.

    Prior to managing the Phoenix Office she held Director and Vice Presidential level positions in technology manufacturing at semiconductor (Fairchild/Motorola, ON, Cypress), telecom (BFI Communications), medical instrumentation (Welch Allyn), and capital equipment (Cookson/ITW) companies. Joan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire.

    Leadership development for current and emerging leaders of professional and trade associations

    How to Participate

    Ready to commit to gaining leadership skills that will ROCK your association? 

    This is a group of association peers that meet monthly via a virtual call and gives you an opportunity to interact with other Association leaders from across the country. These sessions will be focused on YOUR association needs and as we share with other associations, get ideas, share tools and resources that benefit everyone and have access to a peer group that knows what you are experiencing. Katharine and Conni lead these groups with tools and ideas to help develop great leadership for your association.

    Peer Advisory Groups take place on the 2nd Thursday of every month (beginning with a launch on May 9). The Peer Advisory Group is $150 per month and will include a group discussion, challenge presentations, Q&A session and access to other resources.
